Brenda Lee - Rockin Around The Christmas Tree

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all friends and family! The past year has been one for the books. I've learned so much about myself and taken milestones as an adult. To start off, in February I cut all my hair off. This might not seem like that big of a deal but I had been growing it out since 7th grade! It was almost to my butt, and I cut it to my shoulders! I know my Grandma rolled over in her grave when I did it too! Then in March I started working at Harley-Davidson. At the time it was just a job that I needed for the money and I didn't think I was going to gain anything from it. While working there I helped with marketing. I was planning events, creating flyers, creating hangtags for the bikes, learning about all the different types of Harleys, and reaching out to various vendors to support our events. While working at Harley I discovered that I enjoyed the area of Marketing and that is what I want to pursue as a career. And of course, in June, I learned how to ride a motorcycle!! I know it may seem dangerous, but it really is a different type of therapy!! I loved working at Harley-Davidson. I gained a lot of friendships with my coworkers and customers as well. Unfortunately, I was let go in September for budget cuts to prepare for the winter. I am looking for a position where I can expand my knowledge of Marketing and finally proceed with my future career. Another thing I did this year was buy my own car by myself! I bought an 06 PT Cruiser in September. I think it is the ugliest car ever, but that's what makes her special!!

The most important thing about 2015 was I learned how to grow up and how to be a mother. Learning how to be a mother while also trying to figure out who I am was the one of the hardest things I've had to overcome. Being so young and having to grow up so fast isn't as easy as it seems but with the love that I felt from Trinity and being able to watch her grow up and become so intelligent made it all worth it! Trinity has taught me patience and a love that only a mother can feel. I am very proud of how far I have come and very lucky to have such an amazing little girl!! If I didn't have my family here to help me I don't think I'd be where I am today and I am very thankful to have them by my side.

Now the only thing left to do is turn 20 and wait for the new year!! Happy Holidays to all friends and family, and I hope all of you had a wonderful year!
